The exception is if you want to recite the last verse of Baqarah for example, which is clearly long, and one I'd highly recommend. In Thelonger Surahs at the beginning of the Qur'an were given to the Prophet later, in Medina. Some scholars state that Surah 9 is actually the penultimate Surah that was given to the Prophet, the next-to-last Surah he received. Only Surah 5, The Table Spread, was given after Surah 9. Then the transmission of the Qur'an to the Prophet was Thelongest surah of the holy Quran with 286 verses that carries many benefits and virtues to its reader. Surah Baqarah is the best surah for health, it cures any type of disease, heals depression and distress, and makes the anxiety go away. They are known as the short surahs in the last two pages of the Quran. These four surahs fall among Thesurah title translated to "The Disbelievers" in English. The surah addresses the non-believers and disassociating from them in terms of their religious beliefs. 6. Surah Al Baqarah. Surah Al Baqarah is the longest surahs in the Quran and the most important surah to memorise. It is the second chapter of the Quran containing 286 verses. The short Makki surahs are characterized by rhythmic melody.
